The Puffer fish is a creature not to be taken lightly.  A pufferfish is a unique fish known for its ability to inflate its body like a balloon by swallowing water or air, becoming large and spherical to deter predators, and many species contain a potent toxin (tetrodotoxin) in their skin and organs, making them highly poisonous, yet they are also considered a delicacy (fugu) in Japan when prepared by licensed chefs. These scaleless fish have fused teeth forming a beak to crush hard-shelled prey and live in tropical/subtropical marine and some freshwater environments.
